Our Story
FoneTech was started by people who believed a local repair shop should fix things fast, charge fairly and never push anyone into an unnecessary upgrade. Our Doncaster counter keeps to that. From the upper North Mall we look after phones, tablets and laptops for customers from Bessacarr to Bentley, and we’ve kept the service personal while the list of devices has grown.
FoneTech started as an independent repair business with a clear aim: mend devices quickly, fairly and properly. We wanted people to have a real alternative to binning tech that could be saved, and to make getting something fixed feel simple rather than stressful. A cracked phone shouldn't mean a new contract, and a tired laptop usually just needs the right part and someone patient enough to fit it.
Phones grew more complicated, so our skills grew with them. Simple screen swaps led on to board repairs, liquid damage recovery and micro-soldering, with new equipment added as each generation of devices arrived on the bench.
It began with phone repairs, and then customers started bringing us everything else they owned. So we widened the service. We now repair laptops, tablets, smartwatches and games consoles from all the big brands, with the same careful bench work and the same straightforward pricing throughout.
These days many people find us through a friend or colleague. We've grown, but the promise is unchanged: solid repairs, honest prices and friendly help from people who genuinely know their way around a circuit board.
